Registration Details

 

REGISTRATION COSTS
 
  • AU$ 5100 if registered and deposit received prior to 6th June , 2014 or 
  • AU$ 5610 after 6th June, 2014
 
There is no GST applied as the entire activity is conducted offshore.
 
NB: No application will be confirmed as registered until a deposit has been received
 
Please be aware that as there are many logistical preparations and costs that we incur at an early stage the deposit is non refundable if you choose to make a subsequent cancellation and we cannot find a replacement to take your place. Good travel insurance should cover you for such an eventuality and it is worth checking with your provider. Of course if for any reason we were forced to cancel the meeting all monies paid to us would be refunded in full. Please see the registration form for details of the MOTE cancellation policy.
 
 
INCLUSIONS
 
  • Attendance at all conference sessions
  • Access post event to all material presented at the conference sessions in PDF format ( PPT format by specific request )
  • MOTE T-shirt
  • 7 nights accomodation on Tavarua island Resort (twin share)
  • Breakfast, lunch and dinner each day including filtered water, tea, coffee and juice with meals
  • Unlimited surf transfers by boat to local breaks
  • Use of resort facilities ( SUP, Kayaking, Snorkelling, Gymnasium, Skate Ramp, etc )
  • Hotel taxes
 
EXCLUSIONS
The following costs are not included
 
  • International flights to/from Fiji
  • Travel Insurance
  • Meals other than those stated above
  • Drinks other than those stated above
  • Visa costs
  • Round trip airport transfers from Nadi to the island. These are US$ 78 per person and are billed directly to your room. You can also organise helicopter transfers if you prefer - contact us for details
 
If you are travelling alone we will endeavour to match you with another same gender single delegate to share accomodation but if this is not possible or if you prefer not to share a single supplement will apply- contact us for details.
 
We will require a deposit of 25% at the time of booking and the balance by the 30th May 2014. US BASED DELEGATES
 
For US based delegates only we can offer the following registration package that incorporates return airfares from Los Angeles or Honolulu
 
US$ 6199 if registered and deposit received prior to 6th June , 2014 or 
US$ 6818 after 6th June, 2014
 
The inclusions, exclusions and cancellation charges are the same as listed above with the addition of:
 
Return Economy Class Airfare from Los angeles or Honolulu to Fiji
 
CANCELLATION NOTICE AND CHARGES 
 
Cancellation of confirmed bookings is to be made in writing (this includes email). the following penalties will apply:
 
60 + days prior to start date - loss of deposit
31 - 59 days prior to start date - loss of 50% of total registration cost
0 - 30 days prior to start date - loss of 100% of total registration costs
 
The start date for the meeting is taken to be 00:01 on 4th October 2014
 
PASSPORTS AND VISAS
 
Please ensure that you check visa requirements in regards to the nationality listed on your passport. Note that regardless of visa requirements your passport must have a minimum of 6 months validity from the date you plan to depart Fiji in order to enter Fiji. There are NO exceptions.

Past meetings were accredited for MOPS points by the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine and CPD points by the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists. We will be applying for this again in 2014.
